It’s okay to start small with monthly donations! Even if it’s $5, it’s $5 well spent. We are called to help and love our neighbors!

What inspires you to give?

The Odyssey Project has a video telling a story about Sean, one of the many people City Care has helped. City Care empowered him to overcome difficult circumstances. It is inspiring to see the partnership City Care establishes to guide and encourage those in need.

Why have you chosen to partner with City Care?

City Care is a catalyst for positive change in OKC. They treat people with dignity and meet them right where they’re at. They focus on the “big picture” by providing resources to both children and adults. I’ve encountered poverty and homelessness in OKC that has left me wondering “How can I help? Where would I even start?”. City Care was the answer! Monthly giving can make a bigger impact than I’m capable of making on my own.

What specific causes inspire you?

Supportive Communities really inspires me. There are so many barriers to transitioning out of homelessness. Some people might not know where to begin, but City Care helps them every step of the way.

Is there anything else you'd like people to know?

How and when were you first introduced to City Care?

Josh Galdamez introduced me to City Care and their mission. He encouraged direct involvement and I was excited to learn more!

Thank you to our City Care Collective Members.

To those who give faithfully to our most vulnerable neighbors, who join us month in and month out to meet the needs of those living in the margins of our community, who sustain us and motivate us and encourage us, thank you. We are so grateful for you.
