About City Care
City Care was built around the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home. What started in 1996 as a handful of friends offering regular breakfasts to their unhoused neighbors has grown into a collective community response to an urgent community need.
Today, City Care offers Oklahoma’s only low-barrier shelter focused on rehousing and stability and 112 units of supportive housing for Oklahoma’s lowest wage earners. We offer safety, dignity, and an opportunity for a new path forward to our neighbors transitioning out of homelessness. We meet individuals and families where they are, providing housing navigation, case management, and other supportive services to ensure long-term stability.
Thirty years later, we are still walking alongside our neighbors on their journey home.
Transformation starts here.
